As you probably know, a bunch of greedy americans have created a stupid policy where they block videos , music and content so that only people from USA can view it. You can call this "americans  only! filtering".

I remember this started when i tryed to download some sounds to use  with rossi files from some random site when i got this massage saying "this is an american service only". i was really p*ssed off at this thinking "americans only? WTF! then i remember trying to watch a video on another site and got a stupied massage "this video cannot be streamed outside USA due to copyright ussues" SERIOUSLY WTF!!!! Then in late 2008 they started making changes to Youtube. and one of them was if certain videos trying to watch them you get a red banner at the top that says "this video is not available in your country". They do this with more and more videos everytime i visit the site now. Since king of pop, Micheal Jackson died ( wich is still hard to believe ), some american guy has taken over his channel and blocked  all his music videos for americans only! I am angry at whoever did this to his videos. Michael was one of the most famous people  arround and the whole world knows him. mj himeslf wouldn't want that and  wont be pleased if he knew this guy did this. after all he was  out there for the whole world  not just for America, . it's just ridiculous and it gets worse. If Hulu are going to take over Youtube, it will become Us only site like Hulu itself. meaning the world most known video site will be gone and only americnans will be able to view it.  "Hulu Tube" is gonna suck old youtubes pingas!

Playlist.com has recently started this stupid policy now.  Almost, if not all playlists i've seen cannot be wiewed cause it contains one of two songes that are "NOT AVAILABLE DUE TO COPYRIGHT RESTRICTIONS" cmon what's the point and also WHY F**KING BLOCK THE WHOLE PLAYLIST!!!! just block ther "US only" tracks if thats relly the case. i'm looking playlist after playlist and every single one of them is blocked. seriously now, this is f**ked up! go to playlist.com and see for yourself. also playlist are doing the same thing as Soundsnap and Fileplanet. first they started making you have to join the site to download stuff form them. then they started making you have to "subscribe" inother words pay money for so many moths or the premium offor where you sign up for 2 years and pay £6.95 a month.<--WHAT A RIP OFF!!! I used to go on those sites for sounds and music soundtracks but not anymore. Whos gonna pay that money just to view a web site huh? no one! there we go, yet another stupid internet policy!!

Another is the starwars site.  which now has that stupid "americans only" policy. go on starwars.com and try watch a clone wars episode. After watching a one  minute ad the video will start but only to see a yahoo thing and a woman saying "The content you are trying to view is only available in certain areas" yep and the "certain areas" they mean USA. the people running the site probebly don't realise they are star was fans outside of US. duh!

So whats the reason for this ridiculous policy? Cause the majoryty of american companies all want to be bigger and better then everyone else! its obvious. i've never heard from anything like Japan only content or German only content. this is just a kick in the teeth for all us who are not from America.

There's a proxy thing to get past it but it costs money for bandwith AND LOTS OF IT!!!!!!
