Hi guys, I thought it'd make a Development Blog for my upcoming games, this will be a new article series. Hey, it keeps me updating the site, right? Now I only there's someone who actually reads these... Anyway, I'm having a some problems with the coding, as I can't get the Kruncanites to show/draw, usually at this point I'd give up, but I'm not, I'm surprised by that as well, anyway, I'm looking into that problem, but everything else is working fine, and this game has a new convienient feature that the origonal didn't, it actually PAUSES! That's right, I managed to get the game to pause properly, so that's an improvement. I could never do that on Scratch, well maybe I could, I'll try for the Scratch version of Rossies 2, but let's not get off topic. As for other changes/improvements to the origonal, some of which have already been made, and the rest I have already started working on:
- It will have a menu screen with more game modes
- It will features custom made sprites and music, I'm gonna make sure everything custom built, I don't wanna infringe any copyright, it's gonna be on Steam (Hopefully) and Xbox Live Arcade, and I'm gonna be making money from this y'now, I could actually get sued by using 3rd party content, so I better be especially careful.
- It will have a higher resolution: The origonal had a 480 x 360 resolution, Rossies 2 will have a 1280 x 720 resolution, huge improvement, isn't it?
- More overall content, Scratch only allows up to 10mb, XNA allows up to 150mb, not to mention the games take up less space, This game gives a great example of this, The Scratch version of Rossies 2 so far is 6.54mb, the PC/Xbox 360/Zune version of Rossies 2 as it is right now is only 5.45kb, I'm not joking!
So far I only have the Gun on the screen and the background, even then, the Gun doesn't animate perfectly, but for a Betas sake, it'll do for now. Here's a Screenshot: Looking alright, isn't it? Sure, it's not using those "custom made" images I mentioned erlier, but those are for later, right now, I'm focusing on the gameplay, no point doing otherwise, I would bore you to death explaining now, but it's best that leave it. Also, I've made a new logo for the game, I've basicly grabed the Rossies logo, and added a 2, not much, but I thought I'd show you it anyway:

Oh, and one more thing, I want to contact General Mckenzie or at least someone who's been with the Rossies since it started, in anyway I can (Preferably MSN or AIM) so we can discuss plans for storylines for future rossies games, I want to get some info about Rossies when it first started, because I wanna make a rossies game that takes plaace when it was first founded, before any of this Kruncrarian shenanigans.

Just a quick(ish) update, as I've been messing around C# for a while, I found an add-on called "XNA Game Studio" Which Allows me to develop Xbox 360 games, I'm not too fond of the console, but still, wow, I can develop console game. If I have apporval from the General himself, I might make an Xbox 360 Port to Rossies 3D when I go and make that. (Don't worry, Rossies 2 isn't cancelled, and I'll do anything I can to make sure it comes out!) I've been taking a part time course on beginners C#, and while I was fiddling about with it a few days ago, I came across this add-on called "XNA game studio" which allows me to Make Proper Windows and Xbox 360 Games. Here we are, I've finally ended my continuos updating to this game, I think it needs a rest
So anyway, here it is:
...and yes, again with using the darn image, don't blame me, blame scratch, they're applet thing doesn't work, but I'm sure they'll fix that bug... soon...
Lemme guess, you all want an actual sequal, right? WELL... ok, once I get my new game making software for my birthday (a working Multimedia Fusion 2 Developer, Actualy paid for instead of torrent downloaded, and yes, I'm aware that it's £250!) I'll start off with Rossies 2, It will include more than 1 level this time (yay...?) and a "free mode" which allows you to just keep on shooting cruncanites untill you die, the point in this is, It'll have a scoreboard system, that was what gave me the idea, all the cool features in this upgrade and previous ones will be included (I'll let you guy, fellow Rossi compades, decide on that), with over 50 Quotes this time (this version of Rossies 1 has EXACTLY 50), why am I so sure? because I just thought up more quotes to add just as I published this one, so I decided to forget it and add them to Rossies 2 once I get to making that (that is IF I remember them, but I have a pretty good memory though, so I don't think I'll forget them), Rossies 2 will also include Rossie files as cutscenes. That's all I have planned for it actually, but y'now it's still in pre-production, so I have plenety of time to think of more stuff.

Just thought I'd make this, it didn't take too long, it's basicly a currency translator (Cruncredits is the Cruncrarian currency (as descovered by me and CARBUNCLES!!!)), with a differance, you get to shoot the Cruncanite to translate again. Anyway, I'm gonna work on a Cruncrarian Translator, that's gonna take a while, but I know this kinda thing can and has been done before, because I once saw a German translator on scratch, the only thing is, Cruncrarian's MUCH harder to learn (Trust me, a fellow Rossi Comrade at Team Virtua Ross has studied it for 14 years, and STILL can't speak it fluently, that's how hard it is!), but with a little help from Rossi Comrades and people who have picked up a bit of cruncrarian, I'll manage!

As you might already know, there were two rossi files were on their way, one about the kruncanites and another about PSA robots. but im sorry to inform my fellow comrades that the rossi files have been canceled! windows Vista has rendered the microphone disabled and it no longer works. there is no known soluton to the problem and i can no longer do the vioceover. apperently Microsoft have did this to stop copyright and have locked the microphone feature. DAMN THOSE RETARDS AT MICROSOFT!!!! i am now stuck with a half-devlepoped rossi file waiting to be finished and another ready to be made but no voiceover. I need a way to get the mic feature working so i an complete these long awaited rossi files. If you got any ideas please tell me... The problem is i can't get both the mic and sound card both in a "working" state. if mark the sound card the mic will become "unavailable" and will not work. i need a way for both to work but there is no possible way and no one has found a way to fix the problem... It's Finally Here.... In a Download Form, Ok, Let me explain, I don't care what you have to say, just read, now, you know that scratch's limit is 10mb, right? well the game ended up being 87mb! (I know, I can't belive it ither)
Sorry about this, but I didn't have any other choice, but look on the bright side, you can feel free to muck it up, and modify it to make you're own galery shooter, just make sure to give me credit, ok? (What? I DID make it all from Scratch (lol, I guess...) But seriously, though, I spent months on the game, and all I ask in favor is a little bit of credit if you make a remixed version)

Phew, I spent hours on the game, it was alot of hastle, but in the end it's worth it, the game works perfectly with the exception of a few glitches, which can be easily fixed Changes to the new version: Video Intro For Gamerstorm (Don't Worry, It's Skipable) "Spam" Glitch Removed, as in, the glitch where you keep holding down space and youre score keeps going up in a matter of nano-seconds, well, that's fixed now, but hopefully, most of the chatoic and fast gameplay is still there. An actual ending (using the same text dialog thing as the prologe (spelling) did) 9 Tracks, 4 Being Differant Version Of The Doom Theme, and the other 5 are Different songs that fit in with the action (Hopefully) 1 of which is, you could say, a 'Secret" Song, Which Doesn't Play As Often As The Others. So, Yeah, At Least For Me, This Is Great News! Cobra!

Just a Quick Update To tell you, that due to popular rossi (Rossies I have contact with anyway) demand, the game will no longer be censored. Cobra!

I know that CARBUNCLESS!!! is making an updated version, but since the origonal I made was as glichy as anything, I thought I'd fix it and censor it in a way that it won't offend Updates Will include: A Soundtrack of 8 songs, 4 Of them the Doom Level 1 Theme in Differant Versions and the other 4 are fast paced kinda-fitting tracks that I just really like the listen to, all will be played at random order. (however the first song will always be one of the doom ones and the second onwards will be any song) All Glitches Taken Out Updated Rossies Logo Full Screen (As In Covering The Entire Screen of the game) Dialog A Real Ending (All I Need a Picture of Emporer Yunki Dead, Anyone Have Any?) Some More and Updated Mainstreamer/Ned Quotes Anything Mentioning the word "Mainstreamer(s)" (That Excludes "Mainstreamer Slime") Will be Replaced By "Neds" Except the 3rd Page OF The Dailog Where it'll Say "Mainstream/Ned Pupils" "Mainstreamer Slime" Will be replaced by ""Deliquent" Slime" Hope you Guys Understasnd Why I'm Doing This, although I'm basicly beat a dead horse with a stick with stick with this game, I promise this'll be the last update from me and a final update by our good friend CARBUNCLES!!! As For Rossies 3D I have an Idea of Using Blitz 3D to make it, it's gonna be tricky, but I'll Give it a Shot, Think I should? Well, If I don't Succeed, I'll go back to doing it on scratch. As you may of guessed, our partners for the game have for whatever reason betrayed us, I dunno why, but they just did. Now we have to put the Rossies 3D Project on Hold For Now, However, I COULD continue with the Rossies 3D on scratch, Just Comment on this article r on the chatbox, what you think, I WILL use the currect logos we have for the game, if we do. So comment anywhere on the site, chatbox, here, forum, choutbox ON forum, whatever, just tell me what you think. I Will Use the Logosm I Have So Far:

Gamerstorm has teamed up with Sonic Planet Game Group to create a 3D
Rossies Game (could do with a better name though). The first 2 were
made on Scratch and were a success then there was Rossies 3D. It was
going to be made on Scratch but was canceled due to problems. So Gamerstorm and Sonic
Planet Game Group hope to make a more improved version of the classic
